こんな人たちで、ゆるっとピアノやってます
以前、ピアノサークルに入ったという話を書いたのですが
サークルメンバーを少し増やしたく、
このたび募集記事を書かせていただきます！
サークル名は ピアノ☆福岡。
「上手くなること」よりも、
「続けられること」
「一緒に楽しめること」
を大事にしているサークルです。
ピアノ☆福岡ってどんなサークル？
活動拠点は、福岡市内。
グランドピアノのある公共施設やレンタルスペースを利用して活動しています。
活動は 月1回・2時間程度。
土日を中心に開催していて、
毎回必ず参加しなければいけない、ということはありません。
行けるときに、行ける分だけ。
それくらいの距離感です。
いつも何してるの？
基本は、曲を持ち寄っての練習会。
途中までの曲でもOKですし、
「今これを練習中です」という状態での参加も大歓迎です。
そのほか、

ストリートピアノを弾きに行ったり
-
年に一度、演奏会や発表会を開いたり
ソロはもちろん、連弾を楽しんでいるメンバーが多いのも特徴です。
どんな人がいる？どんな雰囲気？
サークルの人数は20人弱。
年齢層は20代から50代までと幅広く、男女比はだいたい1：2くらいです。
ベテランの方もいれば、
「久しぶりにピアノを再開しました」という方もいます。
全体的に、かなり和気あいあい。
のんびりした空気感で、練習会のあとにお茶をしたりすることもあります。
「ちゃんと仕上げてから行かないと…」
という雰囲気は、まったくありません。
お金のこと・持ちものの話
参加費は、会場費を参加人数で割り勘する形です。
入会費・年会費はありません。
特別な持ち物もありません。
必要であれば、自分で弾く用の楽譜くらい。
ピアノを弾きたい気持ちがあれば大丈夫です！

昔ピアノを習っていた方、
最近また弾き始めた方、
一人で練習しているけれど、少し物足りなさを感じている方。
発表会なんて無理かも、と思っていても大丈夫です。

聴くだけの参加でもOK。
私も大人になってからピアノを再開しましたが、
いま、とっても楽しいです。

We’re a group of adults, playing piano—casually and happily
I previously wrote about joining a piano circle,
and this time, we’re looking to welcome a few new members.
So I decided to write a short post to introduce our group.
The name of our circle is Piano☆Fukuoka.
Rather than focusing on
“getting better as fast as possible,”
we care more about:
-
keeping piano in our lives
-
enjoying music together
That balance is what we value most.
So… what is Piano☆Fukuoka?
We’re based in Fukuoka City, Japan.
Our activities take place in public facilities and rental spaces that have grand pianos.
We meet once a month for about two hours, mostly on weekends.
There’s no pressure to attend every time.
You join when you can.
You play when you feel like it.
That relaxed distance is part of what makes the group work.
What do we usually do?
Most of the time, we hold casual practice sessions where everyone brings a piece they’re working on.
Your piece doesn’t have to be finished.
Playing “work in progress” pieces is totally fine.
Many people join while saying,
“I’m still practicing this…”
Other activities include:

going out to play street pianos
-
holding a small concert or recital once a year
We play solo pieces, but we also really enjoy duets.
Making music together is a big part of the fun.
Who’s in the group? What’s the vibe like?
We currently have just under 20 members.
Ages range from the 20s to the 50s,
and the gender ratio is roughly 1:2.
Some members have played piano for many years.
Others have recently returned to piano after a long break.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
Sometimes we grab tea after practice.
Sometimes we just chat.
There’s absolutely no “you must perfect your piece before coming” kind of pressure.
Fees and what to bring
The only cost is the shared venue fee, split among participants.
There’s no membership fee and no annual fee.
You don’t need to bring anything special.
If you have sheet music you want to play, that’s enough.
Most importantly,
you just need the desire to play the piano.

If you played piano years ago,
if you’ve recently started again,

That’s exactly the kind of person we are.
You don’t need a perfect performance.
You can play an unfinished piece.
You can even just listen.
I also restarted piano as an adult,
and honestly—it’s been so much fun.
